Use a third-party app to find out who unfollowed you on Instagram
Firstly, you should know that once you log in to a third-party app it gets access to all of your Instagram data. It may even ask permission to access your phone’s gallery and location. There is always a certain risk involved while using third-party apps as they may sell your personal data to advertisers, or worse, be vulnerable to data breaches, putting your account’s security at risk. We suggest you exercise caution while using these apps. Secondly, you cannot retroactively check who unfollowed you on Instagram by installing a third-party app. You will only get unfollow notifications from the time you start using the app. That being in mind, there are a few third-party apps, like ‘Followers & Unfollowers’ and ‘Follow Meter’, that will notify you every time someone unfollows you. Here’s how you can set it up. Step 1: Download the ‘Followers & Unfollowers’ app from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Open the app and log in using your Instagram credentials.
Step 3: Open the side menu and select ‘Recent Unfollowers’.
