Vivo V19 was scheduled to launch in India on March 26 but the company had to cancel the launch event due to coronavirus lockdown. To which the company released a statement which said, “In such a grave situation, we have postponed all our launches till the situation improves. Please stay connected with us.” After this, the company introduced the phone in the global market and also listed it on its official website revealing all its specifications. As per the listing, the smartphone will be available in two colour options Gleam Black and Sleek Silver. According to the company, the pricing of the smartphone may vary by region. But previously it was reportedly priced around Rs 25,000 for its base variant 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage option.

Vivo V19 sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display offering 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. Moreover, the display comes with a low brightness anti-flicker technology to reduce eye strain. Moreover, under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB of expandable memory. Vivo V19 runs on Funtouch OS 10 skinned on top of Android 10 OS. For taking pictures and recording videos, Vivo V19 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture. Furthermore, there is a secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a tertiary 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4.While on the front there is a dual hole-punch selfie camera that includes a 32-megapixel main selfie camera with f/2.08 aperture and an ultrawide 8-megapixel lens with f/2.28 aperture. For connectivity, the Vivo V19 includes USB Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth version 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi as well as GPS support. The sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and e-compass. The handset comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
