Samsung Galaxy Fold pricing and pre-orders details

Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in two colour options Cosmos Black and Space Silver. The device has been introduced in a single 12GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage variant. Samsung Fold has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1,64,999. Galaxy Fold can be booked on Samsung’s official website and Samsung Shop. Also, it can be booked via 315 offline retailers in 35 cities else it can be pre-booked through Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru. The deliveries for the Galaxy Fold will start on October 20 in the country. On the purchase of Samsung Galaxy Fold, the buyers will get Galaxy Fold Premier service along with one -year Infinity Flex Display Protection. The plan includes accidental damage along with one-time protection, genuine parts, expert repair service and Fold’s display. If the display gets accidentally damaged the company will replace it at Rs 10,500.

Samsung Galaxy Fold specifications

Samsung Galaxy Fold’s biggest USP is that it has two displays, one we get when the device is folded and the second transforms into a tab when unfolded. When folded it sports a .6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 7.3-inch dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex Main Display with 2,152×1,536 pixels of resolution and a 4.2:3 aspect ratio when unfolded. The device is powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Processor at 2.84GHz (maximum clock speed) + 2.41GHz + 1.78GHz and it runs on Android 9 Pie baked on top. As it offers 12GB of RAM and 512GB of massive storage. The handset houses a dual battery with a total capacity of 4,380mAh supported by Wireless PowerShare feature for wireless charging. In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Fold comes with six cameras. The triple rear camera system includes a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with Super Speed Dual Pixel AF and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with PDAF and OIS along with 2X optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom with HDR+ recording. On the front, there is a binary camera set up consisting of a 10-megapixel f/2.2 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel RBG depth camera with an f/1.9 aperture. For the selfies, it has a 10-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
