The newly leaked specs sheet of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones has been shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore in collaboration with Slashleaks and it has revealed a number of interesting details about them. According to the specs sheet, the Redmi K20 smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 SoC, while the Redmi K20 Pro will house the Snapdragon 855 SoC. This is in line with the rumours that the Redmi K20 Pro will be launched in India as the POCO F2. We should mention that the POCO F1 smartphone was launched in India last year and it is the most affordable handset in the country to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Coming back to the specifications that have been surfaced online, besides the processor, all the other features of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones are identical. The smartphones will reportedly come with a 6.39-inch display with a Super AMOLED panel and a screen to body ratio of 91.2%. The display of the smartphone is said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. On the camera front, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones will come with a pop-up selfie camera and will sport a triple rear camera setup on their back panels. The triple rear camera setup of the smartphones will have a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. The pop-up selfie camera modules in the smartphones will come with a 20MP sensor.
The two handsets will house a 4,000mAh battery and will run Android 9.0 Pie skinned with MIUI 10. The specs sheet has also revealed the colours in which the two smartphones will be launched – Flame Red, Glacier Blue, and Carbon Fibre Black. While the Redmi K20 will be made available in 6GB RAM/64GB storage option and 6GB RAM/128GB storage model, its elder sibling will be available in 8GB RAM/128GB storage model and 8GB RAM/256GB storage version. For connectivity, both will include a 3.5mm headphone jack, up to 27W fast charging support, Type C, an in-display fingerprint scanner and more.
