The Realme U1 smartphone was launched in India last November and it is touted by the company for being a selfie-centric handset. Realme U1 comes with a waterdrop-shaped notch, a dual rear camera setup, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a gradient back panel. While base variant of the Realme U1 smartphone, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, is now available at a cost of Rs 10,999, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option can be bought at Rs 13,499. So, both the variants of the smartphones have received a price cut of Rs 1,000 as they were originally launched at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999.

To recall, Realme U1 runs Android 8.1 skinned with ColorOS 5.2 and features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, the device comes with ARM G72 GPU. It has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors coupled with LED flash and for selfies and video calls, it sports a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor. The smartphone houses a 3,500mAh battery.
