Keep Any Window Always On Top In Windows 10

Using DeskPins

Step 1: Download and install the DeskPins program on your PC. The program is accessible from your system tray. Right-click on its icon and select Options. Step 2: In the Pins tab, select whether you want to grab a pin upon a single click or a double click, under the Tray Icon Activation section.  Step 3: Through the Autopin tab, you can set rules for the DeskPins app to automatically pin specific window types. You can also change the default shortcuts for entering the pin mode via the Hotkeys tab. Step 4: Click on the Apply button and then click OK. Now, all you need to do to pin a window on top is single click/ double click the DeskPins icon within the system tray and then click on the title bar of the required window. Using TurboTop

TurboTop is another useful app for keeping any window always on top in Windows 10. 

Step 1: Download and install TurboTop.  Step 2: Click the TurboTop icon within the system tray. A list of windows that are currently open appears.  Step 3: Select the window which you want to pin on top. That’s it! A checkmark appears next to the selected window once you click on it, indicating that it has been pinned on top. Keep Any Window Always On Top In Windows 11

Fortunately, Microsoft took this issue into account and has upgraded its Microsoft PowerToys app with the much-needed ‘Always on Top’ tool for Windows 11. 

Step 1: Download and install the Microsoft PowerToys app onto your Windows 11 PC.  Step 2: Open the application, go to the Always on Top section from the left pane, and then toggle on the Enable Always on Top option. That’s it! Now, all you have to do is press the Windows+Shift+T shortcut keys and the active window will be pinned on the top. To undo the Always on Top mode, just press the same shortcut keys again.  In this way, you can easily keep any window always on the top in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
