The user who posted the job on LinkedIn has been identified as Michel Rijnders. Refer to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, one LinkedIn user posted on the social media platform, “Applying to be CEO of Google on LinkedIn. Sundar’s been doing a great job so far. $GOOG Q2 earnings were strong, so a little strange to see this opening.” Michel Rijnders, an online recruiter from the Netherlands exposed a severe error on the professional social network. This error set permits users to send an official-looking job opening on almost every company’s LinkedIn business page. Both sham listings came into sight on the technology giants’ LinkedIn business pages together with their other job openings. The listings became visible in LinkedIn’s job search and it has been reported that Rinjders did not require any approval before posting the job openings. But then, LinkedIn charges people for posting jobs on its platform. Being a premium LinkedIn subscriber, Rijnders was able to post a job opening for free of charge. In next to no time when LinkedIn realize the fake job listing, they expressed thanks toRijnders and said, “Thank you Michel Rijnders for bringing this to our attention. We’ve removed the posting and we’re resolving the issue that allowed this post to go live.
